Koshish Foundation Story

Koshish Foundation, established in 2001 by a group of Pakistani technologists from Silicon Valley, is dedicated to advancing educational opportunities for underprivileged students in Pakistan. Since its inception, the Foundation has focused on impactful initiatives such as establishing libraries and computer labs in schools, providing financial assistance and mentorship to students at NED University, and supporting final-year projects. In collaboration with Microsoft and Khan Academy, Koshish has translated essential educational content into Urdu, expanding access to quality learning resources. The Foundation has also funded higher education for NED graduates and established a hospital and pharmacy in Tando Allahyar. Looking ahead, Koshish aims to set up technical labs in government schools and produce educational videos to promote civic awareness and environmental responsibility.

کوشش فاؤنڈیشن 2001 میں سلیکون ویلی کے پاکستانی انجینئرز کے ایک گروپ نے قائم کی، جنہوں نے پاکستان کے تعلیمی اداروں کے قرض اتارنے کا عزم کیا۔ گزشتہ 24 برسوں میں، کوشش نے اسکولوں میں لائبریریوں، کمپیوٹر لیبز، این ای ڈی طلبا کی مالی معاونت، اردو تعلیمی مواد کی تیاری، اور اعلیٰ تعلیم کے مواقع فراہم کیے ہیں۔ علاوہ ازیں، ٹنڈو الہ یار میں ایک اسپتال اور فارمیسی بھی قائم کی گئی۔ مستقبل میں، کوشش فاؤنڈیشن ہنر سکھانے والی لیبز اور سماجی و ماحولیاتی شعور بیدار کرنے والی ویڈیوز پر کام کر رہی ہے۔
